Studio GLUE’s creative director, Zarina Holmes, had run a successful lifestyle portrait photography workshop in partnership with Kuala Lumpur International Photoawards in October 2019.
The workshop was held at Ilham Gallery, Kuala Lumpur’s foremost contemporary arts venue where the winning entries were exhibited. It is a part of the award’s masterclass series led by the Malaysia’s top photography talents, Nadirah Zakaria and Steven Lee.

While in Kuala Lumpur, GLUE took the opportunity to discover hot local talents such as documentary photographer, Fitri Jalil and Topboi Citizen Management modelling agency founded by fashion photographer Ridduan Ismail. The visit to Kuala Lumpur was also part of the studio’s initiative to extend its business network and partnerships in Malaysia and the Southeast Asia region.

While in Malaysia, GLUE also introduced its creative training programme for entrepreneurs, Warna Workshops, which is a series of short workshops designed to support busy entrepreneurs and SMEs.
