Back at our studio garden, the flowers are retreating one by one to a well-needed slumber. However, before that our founder managed to document them for After the Rain project as part of the Homegrown Series. It features upcycled containers from daily household products that overwhelmed our life during the pandemic. “The point with the Homegrown Series is that sustainability starts at home,” according to After the Rain.
Our local borough highlight was the visit to the Apple Day event that took place at the walled-garden orchard at the Fulham Palace. We’d never seen so many local British apples in one place. The candy apples were a great hit; they were sold out before we could get our hands on them.
