Social Innovation Movement, the management partner for Beyond Bins project, has commissioned our studio to design an investor and stakeholder document, featuring infographics and art direction proposals.
Beyond Bins is a programme by Malaysian-based Biji-Biji Initiative to tackle the global plastic waste problem through innovative and self-sustaining solutions for the communities. It addresses the global plastic waste problem through innovative and self-sustaining solutions for the communities. The project was inspired by the open-source project Precious Plastic founded by Dave Hakkens.

Through this programme, the organisation introduces small-scale plastic recycling solutions and, at the same time, promotes an alternative source of income to the community through the production and re-selling of recycled products.
The project used SROI methodology to execute research and evaluation which underwent a six stages process method to illustrate the cause-effect relationship with the overall inputs and outcomes. The social impact research is led by Dr. Jane Chang and Dr. Ainurul Rosli, from the Social Innovation Movement.
