THE CLIENT PROCESS
1) Free Consultation
We could arrange for a 15-minute Google Meet or Zoom call in the beginning of the project to understand a bit about your requirement.
2) Rates
We encourage the clients to state their budget at the earliest opportunity to be more cost-efficient.
We charge daily rate for design and imaging services, starting from as examples below:
- One-day work minimum for a 10-page presentation.
- Two-day work minimum for marketing campaign design.
- Two-day work minimum for infographics.
- Five-day work minimum for a small guide book.
- Ten-day work minimum for an annual report.
- Four-day work for a basic business website design.
- Including three versions, not including stock artwork costs.
We don’t take hourly commission.
UK photography training workshops rate is at £50 per hour with minimum four-hour duration, not including travel expenses.
We charge daily rate for additional consultancy meetings. Please prepare a clear brief ahead of the discussion.

3) Deposit Payment
We ask for 25% deposit payment for photography or imaging assignments, plus 75% balance due before the final assets delivery.
We require 50% deposit before the design work commence. We apply our discretionary for graphic design work, depending on the project size.
4) Contract
It’s a good practice to have a contract prepared before a project commence to ensure protection and a smooth delivery.
5) Project Management
We will draft a project schedule and delivery date when the contract is agreed. We suggest a scheduled 15-minute catch up at an agreed time for quick updates.
6) Project Completion Time
We practice holistic workflow and prefer to have the work scheduled accordingly to allow time for idea developments, reverting changes and maintaining quality.
We apply additional 25% rush fees for any assignment that needs to be done in a shorter time than usual. This is subject to our capacity and meeting realistic standards.
For example, we need a minimum two-week notice to schedule in a small campaign, and a minimum four to eight-week notice for reports and 20-page presentations.
Examples of project completion time, as below:
- A logo brand identity could take a minimum six to eight weeks to complete, allowing for research and iterations. An extended corporate brand identity exercise may take up to twelve weeks to complete.
- An annual report could take a minimum of eight weeks to complete.
- A social media campaign needs to be planned at a minimum of four weeks in advance.
- A photoshoot campaign could take a minimum of twelve weeks in order to obtain permit and to assemble crew.
- A simple signposting website could take a minimum of four to eight weeks to complete.
We could add project management time into the budget at your request, if the project requires it.
Task completion window – Short turnaround projects must be completed within 2 to 3 weeks. Long turnaround projects such as annual reports and extensive brand identity should be completed within 8 weeks. Otherwise extra time charges will incur. Please discuss your schedule and agree on timelines in advance.
7) Research & Creative Brief
The more we know about the project, the more accurate the result is. We will send out a Design Brief form and a questionnaire before we commence to gain as many information about your product as possible. Please supply your brand guidelines, link to brand assets, a marketing brief or a Pinterest moodboard.
8) Assets Server
We prefer to deliver work with Google Drive, although we welcome Dropbox. We will remove the project from our server after seven days of final delivery. Please download and backup the job as soon as it’s been delivered.
9) Logo / Brand Identity Design
We present from three logo design ideas for the main logo to the client. Then we proceed to fine-tune the design until the third / final version. Client may request for additional revisions by adding extra day/s to the project.
After that, we will proceed to prepare the brand guidelines.

10) Brand Guideline
How many brand guideline packages are there?
There are several tiers of brand guideline packages, depending on requirement and project size. Examples as below:
- Basic style guide package for logo design or personal brand project
- Extended brand guideline package including extended usage and textures
- Complete brand guideline including campaign templates and stationery
11) Design Transfer Agreement
We use licensed stock artworks such as photography and vector illustrations to support time-sensitive campaigns.
For extended usage for product design and trademark, a Design Transfer Agreement may have to be arranged to transfer the creator’s copyright ownership over to the client.
Please inform us early on if you intend to have extended product in mind, beyond communication and campaigning exercises.
12) Website Design
We will create wireframe proposals first. After a preferred layout is chosen, we will create prototype of the homepage to be approved prior to working on the live website. Client is allowed one revision after the website is live.
We use platforms such as Squarespace and Wix. We encourage our client to be able to make edits independently.
For website projects with extended functionalities such as SEO, email marketing and payment, we recommend that the client bring a developer or a specialist onboard to assist.
13) Workshop and Training
We could arrange a 30-mins call to walk client through the new setup.
We can arrange a one day or a series of training workshop to help staff create brand assets and establishing a smooth workflow.
14) Office hours
We’re an international design studio serving global clients within different time zones. We respond to UK/EU clients from 7am to 11am British GMT, from Monday to Friday. We operate from Malaysia/SE Asia and will adjust the operation time according to the region’s timezone.
